    Preparation and Preservation

To ensure the longevity and stability of your new structure, it must be positioned on a solid, level base made of concrete or paving slabs. Following installation, we highly recommend treating your building to preserve its quality and appearance. Due to the treatment used to preserve your timber structure, you may note a green colour to the wood. Please use outdoor wood stain to preserve and enhance the beauty of your building.

    Optional Extras

We take pride in our ability to tailor all our buildings to our customer’s unique specifications. Our experienced craftsmen have the expertise and facilities to create your new shed in any design or size you desire. We can even customise the placement of windows and doors to best suit your needs and preferences.

Information On The Process Of Tanalising:

Your product has been crafted from pressure-treated softwood, specifically, Swedish Redwood, using a process commonly known as Tanalising. This procedure involves impregnating the timber with an environmentally-friendly wood preservative, Tanalith E, under controlled conditions within a vacuum-pressure timber impregnation plant.

During this process, the preservative chemicals become permanently embedded in the timber, making them impossible to remove. Occasionally, this treatment may leave a green residue on the surface, which typically disappears with use. It’s important to note that this residue is not harmful and does not constitute a blemish. Rather, it’s a characteristic that can occur due to the treatment process. As we mentioned above, you can use wood stain to change the colour of your garden building to a preferred shade.

All of our buildings are handmade by our skilled craftsmen at our own complex, which means if you would like your building to be bespoke to your design we can cater this for you as well as making all sizes.

Optional Extras:-
All of our buildings can be made to our customer’s specifications upon request, We have the facility and experience of our crafts men to manufacture your new shed to any design or size you may desire, including the windows and door placed most convenient to each individual customer.

Information On The Process Of Tanalising:-

Your product has been manufactured in pressure treated softwood (Swedish Redwood). This process is often referred to as Tanalising. Tanalising involves impregnation with Tanalith E (environmentally friendly) wood preservative under controlled conditions in a vacuum pressure timber impregnation plant. When impregnated into the timber the chemicals become fixed into the timber and cannot be removed. At times the treatment leaves a green residue on the surface which will normally wear off with use. This is a feature that occurs but is not considered a blemish, the residue is not harmful.
