Do I need planning permission for my garden building?

Our buildings are made under planning regulations of 30sqm, However if you would like to confirm please contact your local council for further advice.

What access is required?

Clear un-restricted access is required for the building to be transported to the base, we ask for 8ft height clearance, we are unable to lift over walls, garages etc.

Do I need a base for my garden building?

A solid and level base is crutial before any building can be erected it will need to cover the entire floor area of the size shed you purchase. Conrete base, timber base, Concrete slabs will be more than adequate laid on a bed of sharp sand and concrete mix.

What payments do you accept?

We accept Cash on Delivery, all major Debit and Credit Cards (ViSA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo, American Express), PayPal and Bank Transfers & cheque.

How do I place an order?

An order can be placed securely online. Via Our Website or directly to our Email address. Alternatively you can call our office and speak to our skilled & friendly sales team.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

If you building is bespoke (built to your size or design) then a 25% deposit is required in advance.

Delivery Fee’s

Depending upon your location a delivery fee will apply we ask that you email us prior to the sale to find out you estimated delivery fee and our current lead time. With your purchase we offer a free erection service.

Will the building be erected at the same time as delivery?

All buildings are delivered and erected on the date confirmed with the customer, provided there is a firm level base and sufficient access. If you fail to meet this guideline then the building will be dropped of. If you require an alternative call out, a charge will apply.

How is the building put together?

We screw the building so in the future if you move house you can take your building with you and is fitted with standard galvanised t-hinges and a turn button to close the door tight.

What glass do you use?

24 x 18 inches Horticultural glass is the standard window, You can upgrade to a large cottage style window or Georgian at an additional charge. Or you can upgrad to the large 18ich by 5ft windows which are shown on the summerhouses please call for a quote on these windows.

Is the roof felted?

Yes your building is supplied and fitted with a 40kg polyester heavy duty roofing felt its the best graded felt with a warranty of 6 months.

Can I change the Specs: height, door and window positions?

We are more than happy to build to the customers desired specification. Please contact our sales team to discuss your options.

Is the timber treated?

Your product has been manufactured in Pressure Treated Softwood (Scandinavian Redwood). This process is often referred to as tanalising. This mean your building is resistant from rot and fungus, however this doesn’t mean ‘waterproof’, we recommend the application of an oil based water proofing treatment.

Guarantees

Timber is a natural material and is subject to damaged caused by climate, including but not limited to warping and splitting due to extreme temperatures. This process is natural and unfortunately beyond our control and therefore is not covered by our guarantee. Our roofing felt is specially formulated for use on garden buildings, however, occasionally the felt can ripple due to temperature changes and not due to any fault in the material.
